Welcome to KMS School of Motoring!  I believe that learning to drive should be interesting, rewarding and fun.  Driving is a life skill that opens up many new possibilities but on today's roads it can seem daunting.  At KMS you will learn to drive in a relaxed environment with a very friendly and patient instructor.
Whether you are completely new to driving or have had some lessons before, KMS is the school for you.  During your first lesson any previous driving experience will be assessed so your lessons can be tailored at a level to suit you.You will be given a personal learning record so you can clearly see how you are progressing in each of the skills required for driving - your instructor will also keep a copy of this record.You will also be given the option to purchase learning materials to help you study for the driving theory test.

As you progress through your learning record and once you have passed the theory test, your instructor will advise you on when you are ready to take your practical test.

Once you have passed your test, we recommend you take the Pass Plus driver training course which will teach you how to deal with all kinds of hazards further to those you have experienced as a learner.  Pass Plus includes motorway driving which is not covered when learning to drive, for the legal reason that learners are not allowed on motorways!  There is no test at the end of Pass Plus - your instructor will give you a certificate when you have completed the six course modules to the required standard.

If you are already a qualified driver but wish to have some further training for any reason, lessons can be tailored to suit your needs.  Perhaps you have not driven for a while or have had an experience on the roads which has made you nervous - whatever the circumstances, KMS is here to help you.  Driving assessments for employment purposes are also available.
